Area &
Lodging Area Lake Tahoe spans the border of California and Nevada in the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains, and is considered "the jewel of the Sierras." The Tahoe Basin offers some of North America's most vast and varied recreational opportunities and is its largest Alpine lake. With its 72 miles of shoreline and crystal blue waters, Tahoe continues to attract visitors from around the world. Lodging This page was designed to accommodate my wedding guests with options on lodgings and "things to do in Tahoe" while joining the celebration. This On-Line Guide was available for information on lodging reservations, outdoor recreation, weddings, entertainment, special events, casino resorts, and just about anything else anyone wanted to know about beautiful Lake Tahoe and the High Sierras. Even a month before the big day, Harveys was booked, regrettably, but there was another option. If none of the places above suited my guests, the Royal Valhalla was suggested by Ed. He personally stayed there some time ago and was quite pleased. He would definitely recommend an enjoyable stay. By calling 1-800-999-4104, guests received details and decided from there. 1998 Summer Rates were as follows (May 22 - September 30):
* 2 Bedroom B-level Suite: Sleeps 6 people max. There were so many choices but
only one decision.
